Qatar Affirms Commitment to Enhancing Human Rights Legislation
The State of Qatar reaffirmed its growing commitment to human rights, emphasizing its legislative, legal, administrative, and other measures to enforce and develop these rights within the framework of comprehensive social development, noting that this interest is based on national references, foremost among them being Qatar National Vision 2030, the First National Development Strategy (2011-2016), and the Second National Development Strategy (2018-2022).
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: We Condemn Policy of Collective Punishment Against Palestinians
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani renewed the State of Qatar's condemnation of the targeting and killing of civilians - regardless of their backgrounds, the continuation of the collective punishment policy followed by Israel towards the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the ongoing escalation in the West Bank, which is increasing on a daily basis, causing more danger to the situation in the region.
Qatar Participates in IRENA Assembly
The State of Qatar participated in Part II of the fourteenth session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), which was held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
