Paris/Information Office/09 December 2016/ HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Friday met Riad Hijab, the head of the Syrian high negotiations committee, on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting of countries that share similar views on Syria, which will be held tomorrow in Paris.

During their meeting, the two sides reviewed the recent developments on the Syrian front, particularly in Aleppo in addition to exchanging views on the friends of Syria meeting and coordinating stances on the latest developments.
In addition, the meeting discussed efforts to reach a political settlement for the Syrian crisis and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
