Doha/Information Office/14 December 2016/ HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al -Thani held a telephone conversation this evening with US Secretary of State John Kerry.
During the call, they discussed the worsening humanitarian situation in the city of Aleppo and means for joint coordination .
HE the Foreign Minister stressed the need for serious work in order to achieve an immediate cessation of the attacks on Aleppo and for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards the protection of civilians. HE the Minister also stressed the need for opening safe paths and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian assistance.
