Doha Declaration Global Program Publishes Story on Home Learning for Primary School Children

The Doha Declaration Global Program published a story titled "Home learning for primary school children gets a boost with the innovative tools of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The story was posted on the Global Program's website and its accounts on social media within the Education for Justice scope.

The State of Qatar had hosted the third conference on crime prevention in 2015 which issued the Doha Declaration that includes an action plan for the international community during the next five years in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice.

The State of Qatar has funded the global program to implement the recommendations of the Doha Declaration with more than $49 million implemented by the UNODC.

The global program includes four main areas: Judicial Integrity, Education for Justice, Crime Prevention through Sports, and Prisoner Rehabilitation. The number of beneficiaries of the program has so far reached about 1.5 million people from more than 190 countries.
