HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman met here on Thursday with HE Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

At the outset of the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HM Sultan of Oman, and His Highness' wishes of

more progress and prosperity to the Omani people.

For his part, HM Sultan of Oman, entrusted HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the Qatari people continuing development and prosperity.

Talks during the meeting focused on bilateral relations and means to bolster them, in addition to a host of regional and international issues of common concern.

HE Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, and HE Qatar's Minister of Finance Ali Shareef Al Emadi attended the meeting.
