The State of Qatar participated in the special meeting of the Arab Permanent Human Rights Committee of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, which was held today via video conference.

The State of Qatar was represented in the meeting by HE the Acting Director of Department of Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Turki bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.

The meeting discussed the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the efforts of Arab countries to promote and protect human rights in time of crisis and beyond.
