The State of Qatar Agrees on Establishing Arab Organization for Communication and Information Technology at Arab League

The State of Qatar has deposited its instrument of accession to the agreement establishing the Arab Communication and Information Technology Organization at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

The document was deposited Monday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the University by HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the League of Arab States Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi, in the presence of Director of the Treaties and International Law Department at the Arab League Ambassador Ehab Makram.

The organization aims to develop the communication and information technology sector and provide the necessary mechanisms to support cooperation among the members of the organization, and to develop joint policies and strategies for the development of the communication technology sector.
