The National Assembly (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan praised the announcement of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to hold elections for the Shura Council in October next year.

The Parliamentary Relations Committee in the Assembly said that this announcement expresses the political will and the strategic outlook for the country's future.
