HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met in Washington with HE the Chairman of the House Committee on Armed Services Adam Smith.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and increasing defense investments between the two countries, as well as Al Udeid Air Base, the promotion of workers' rights in Qatar and developments in the region.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the distinguished strategic relations between the two countries and the continuation of Qatar's efforts to preserve and safeguard workers' rights.
