The Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee announced that tomorrow, and in cooperation with Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), it will begin to disburse the January batch of cash assistance to needy families in Gaza Strip.
HE Chairman of Qatar's Gaza Reconstruction Committee Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi stated that cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 poor and needy families in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, at a rate of USD 100 per family.
His Excellency pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations and the distribution centers identified in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, amounting to more than 300 centers and shops.
The State of Qatar disburses a monthly humanitarian grant in support of the sisterly Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, who suffer from difficult economic and living conditions caused by the Israeli blockade.
