Rome/ 29 April 2014/ Dr Jose Graziano da Silva, Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), met Tuesday with HE Qatar's Ambassador to Italy Abdullah bin Eid Al Sulaiti. During the meeting, HE Al Sulaiti presented his credentials as Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the FAO. Dr da Silva hailed the level of cooperation with Qatar. For his part, HE the Ambassador stressed on the importance of enhancing the technical prospects of bilateral cooperation between the FAO and Qatar, and developing cooperation programs and workshops in cooperation with the FAO in order to increase Qatari capabilities in various fields.
