Santo Domingo/ 26 August 2014/The Dominican Republic Agriculture Minister Luis Ramon Rodriguez met here with HE Qatar's Ambassador in Santo Domingo Khamees Buti Rashid Al-Suhooti. The meeting dealt with the relations between the two countries and means to promote them, particularly in the fields of investments, agriculture and livestock. During the meeting, Ambassador Al-Suhooti highlighted the great success achieved by the State of Qatar in the field of investments, reaching self-sufficiency in agricultural production. For his part Dominican Republic Agriculture Minister expressed desire to invite a delegation of Qatari businessmen to study the prospects of investment opportunities in his country.
