New York/Information Office / 22 September 2014/ HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met Monday at the headquarters of the State of Qatar's permanent delegation to the United Nations in New York with President of International Crisis Group. His Excellency also met with Commissioner General for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Pierre Krahenbuhl. The two meetings dealt with developments of the Palestinian issue, particularly the latest developments in Gaza and the means to provide aid for the Palestinian people. HE the Foreign Minister highlighted during the meeting the State of Qatar's commitment to backing all initiatives meant to help the Palestinian people and refugees. His Excellency also welcomed cooperation with UNRWA on developmental projects and the rebuilding of Gaza.
