Doha/ Information Office/ 27 February 2015/ The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the two incidents in which a West Bank mosque in Bethlehem and a Greek Orthodox church building in Occupied Jerusalem were burnt down. In a statement issued on Friday, the Foreign Ministry stressed that such criminal acts contradict with all human principles and divine laws, and constitute a serious violation of all international norms and laws. The ministry considered that the burning of Muslim and Christian holy sites by Israeli settlers is an indication of hatred and unacceptance of the other.
