Doha /Information Office / 02 March 2015/ The State of Qatar has commended the efforts of the international mediation team led by Algeria which resulted in the signing of the peace agreement between the parties to the conflict in Mali. Qatar deemed the reached agreement as balanced deal and will benefit Mali and the region as a whole, said a statement issued today by the Foreign Ministry. The statement stressed on the need to ensure the success of this agreement with the support of the international community, adding that Qatar will support all parties to achieve this goal. It added that Qatar called for the implementation of this agreement and urged all groups that have not signed the agreement to join and deal positively with this step, in order to preserve national unity and territorial integrity as well as achieve the stability and prosperity of Mali.
