Ramallah/Information Office/ 19 March 2015/ Hussein El Sheikh, head of the Palestinian general department of civil affairs, met HE Ambassador Mohamed Al Emadi, head of the Qatar committee for the reconstruction of Gaza, and received from him the reconstruction dossier of the Qatari grant. The meeting discussed all projects provided by Qatar to the Gaza Strip including Sheikh Hamad Hospital, the rebuilding and rehabilitation of the Palestinian international stadium, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa city, and the building and rehabilitation of several crucial streets such as Salah El Din and Al Rasheed. El Sheikh hailed Qatar's efforts in helping the Palestinian people, particularly in the reconstruction of Gaza and preparing to start Qatari projects. HE Ambassador Al Emadi recently announced starting to build 1,000 residential units in Gaza Strip for those whose houses were destroyed during the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza last summer.
