Katmandu /Information Office/ 26 May 2015/ HE Qatar's Ambassador to Nepal Ahmed Jassim Al Hamar met here on Tuesday with the World Food Programme (WFP) representative in Nepal Pippa Bradford. During the meeting, Pippa Bradford gave brief on the WFP activities after the devastating earthquakes which hit the country, pointing that the Programme provided food aides for over two million people affected by earthquakes. HE the ambassador informed the WFP official on the relief assistance provided by Qatar, which include, food, a field hospital and a drinking water treatment programme. The meeting dealt with means to enhance the partnership between the WFP, the friendly countries and the civil society.
