Kuwait/Information Office/ 28 May 2015/ HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met today with Afghani Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani on the sidelines of the 24th session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), currently underway in Kuwait. During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and means of developing and exchanged views on matters of mutual concern. Dr. Al Attiyah also met separately with foreign ministers of Gambia and Maldives Neneh Macdouall-Gaye and Dunya Maumoon respectively. HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met today with Yemeni Foreign Minister Riyad Yassin on the sidelines of the 24th session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), currently underway in Kuwait. During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in Yemen. Dr. Al Attiyah underlined the need for dialogue among the Yemeni parties in order to reach a political solution, stressing that the State of Qatar will spare no effort to support the legitimate government and the brotherly Yemeni people. For his part, the Yemeni Foreign Minister expressed his country's thanks for the support the State of Qatar provides to the Yemeni people, wishing relations between the two countries further development and prosperity. HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met today with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra on the sidelines of the 24th session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), currently underway in Kuwait.During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and means of developing and exchanged views on developments in the region. Dr. Al Attiyah also met with Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdul Lahyan, During they exchanged views on a number of matters related to the region.
