China-Arab Cooperation Forum Launches as Qatar Participates

Cairo /Information Office/ 10 June 2015/ The 12th session of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum launched Wednesday at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. Qatar is represented in the forum by HE Saif bin Muqaddam Al-Buainein, Doha's ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative to the Arab League, and HE Ambassador Saad bin Ali Al-Mohannadi, head of the Foreign Ministry's Department of Arab Affairs. Speaking at the opening of the forum, Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby said he was looking forward to holding the seventh edition of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum's ministerial meeting in Qatar next year, calling on the general secretariat to continue coordination with the Arab and Chinese sides in order to ensure good preparation for the meeting and plan an executive program for the forum between 2016 and 2018.
