Senior Arab and South American Officials Complete Preparation for

Cairo/Information Office/ 25 June 2015/ Senior foreign ministry officials from Arab countries and their Latin American counterparts have completed the draft of ' Riyadh Declaration', scheduled to be issued by the Arab-Latin American Summit, due to be held next November in Riyadh. The 'Riyadh Declaration' will include prospects and areas of political, economic, trade, social and cultural cooperation between the two sides. The senior official agreed in a joint meeting they held today to hold another meeting ahead of the summit on the level of foreign ministers on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting, salted for New York in September. Arab League Assistant Secretary-General for International Political Affairs Ambassador Fadhi Jawad told reporters that the ranking Arab and Latin American officials meeting, to be held on the sidelines of the United Nations meeting, will complete a draft joint protocol, adding that a series of preparatory meetings will be completed in Riyadh ahead of the summit.
