Strasburg/ Information Office/ 08 July 2015/ HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah on Wednesday held separate meetings with a number of European Parliament members, during his visit to Strasburg. HE Dr. Al Attiyah met with the Chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group Syed Kamall, President of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) Jan Zahradil, President of the New Direction group Geoffrey Van Orden and a number of European Parliament members. During the meetings, they discussed means to further develop cooperation between the State of Qatar and the European Union (EU). they also reviewed a number of topics of mutual interest. HE Qatar's Ambassador to the EU Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Qatar's Ambassador to France Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al-Thani were present at the meetings as well as the member of the delegation accompanying HE the Foreign Minister.
