Qatar's U.N. Rep in Geneva Meets Sudanese Official

Geneva /Information Office/ 17 September 2015/ HE Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al Henzab, Qatar's permanent representative to the United Nations and other organizations in Geneva, met Ahmed Abou Zeid, Sudanese state minister at the Ministry of Justice, on the sidelines of the 30th session of the U.N. Human Rights Council, currently underway in Geneva. The Sudanese official expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation of Qatar's Emir, government and people for their efforts in supporting the Sudanese people and reaching the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur as well as fulfilling its commitments and pledges towards the reconstruction of Darfur so as to achieve development, stability and peace in Sudan. For his part, HE Al Henzab stressed Qatar's keenness on continuing efforts to promote and develop Qatari-Sudanese ties. He reiterated Qatar's unwavering support for Sudan's issues in the U.N. Human Rights Council.
