Port Louis /Information Office/ 30 September 2015/ The President of the Republic of Mauritius Dr. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim received credentials of HE Yousef bin Mohammed Al Mahmoud as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (Non-resident) of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Mauritius. HE the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the President of the Republic of Mauritius wishing her best of health and happiness and to the government and people of the Republic of Mauritius further progress and prosperity. For her part, the President of the Republic of Mauritius entrusted HE the Ambassador with her greetings to HH the Emir and her wishes of further growth and prosperity to the Qatari people. The President of the Republic of Mauritius also wished HE the Ambassador success in his new mission to support and enhance relations of friendship and cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Mauritius.
