Doha/Information Office / 7 December 2015/The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the assassination of the Governor of Aden Major General Jaafar Mohammed Saad and a number of his companions after a car bomb targeted his convoy in Al-Tawahi district, south Yemen, on Sunday. In a statement issued on Monday, the Foreign Ministry said that the incident is a crime contradicts with all moral and humanitarian values and principles, stressing that this criminal act will not undermine the will of the Yemeni people or discourage their determination to restore stability in Yemen. The Ministry reiterated Qatar's full support to Yemen in all actions taken in order to maintain security and stability. The statement also expressed Qatar's sincere condolences to the families of the deceased as well as to Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and the government.
