Cairo/Information Office/ 18 February 2016/ The 97th round of the Economic and Social Council, held at the ministerial level, concluded here Thursday at the Arab League's General Secretariat Headquarters under the chairmanship of Bahrain with participation of Arab ministers of economy, commerce and finance and their representatives. Minister Plenipotentiary Yasir Awad, the Charge d'affaires at Qatar's Embassy in Cairo led Qatar's delegation to the meeting. Participants prepared draft resolutions regarding the economic and social dossier of the upcoming Arab summit slated to be held in the Moroccan city of Marrakech next April . The council decided to hold a preparatory meeting of the Arab summit in its 27th round due to be held in Morocco on April 3rd to be preceded by senior officials meeting to review the economic and social files in the final form.
