Doha/ information office / 17 March 2016 / The State of Qatar has condemned the continuing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people and the confiscation of Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank. In a statement issued Thursday, the Foreign Ministry said the ongoing settlement measures taken by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories contradict with all international conventions, laws and norms, stressing that these hostile practices could undermine peace efforts and the implementation of the two-state solution. The statement reiterated the State of Qatar's call to exert all efforts to stop Israeli settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories and the implement relevant international resolutions.
