Djibouti/Information Office/ 23 March 2016/ The Republic of Djibouti has expressed anew thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for the decisive role HH played to secure the release of four of the Djiboutian prisoners of war detained in Eritrea since 2008. In a statement Djibouti's Foreign Ministry said the step was the fruit of indirect talks in which the brotherly State of Qatar played the mediator's role. The Ministry confirmed the commitment of the Republic of Djibouti to the enhancement of security and stability in the Horn of Africa.
