Khartoum/Information Office/ 07 May 2016/ President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan met here this evening with Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Affairs, who is currently visiting Khartoum. At the beginning of the meeting , HE Al Mahmoud conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani to the Sudanese President, best wishes for him and the Sudanese people more progress and prosperity. For his part, the Sudanese President asked HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and his best wishes for the Qatari people more progress and prosperity. Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations, and ways of developing them in various fields. The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Sudan Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi.
