Doha/Information Office/ 04 July 2016/ The State of Qatar condemned Monday the explosions that took place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and targeted a security point near the Mosque of Prophet Mohammed in Medina. Qatar also condemned another bombing that went off in a parking lot in Jeddah. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed its condemnation to those criminal acts that contradicts all humanitarian, moral and Islamic values. The Ministry also expressed Qatar's support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the latter faces these crimes committed against innocent people. Qatar also highlighted the Kingdom's leading role in the region, particularly in counter-terrorism. The statement also stressed Qatar's support to all the measures the Kingdom will take to preserve its peace and stability. The Ministry then conveyed Qatar's condolences to the people of Saudi Arabia and the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
