Doha/Information Office/23 August 2016/ The State of Qatar condemned Tuesday the series of Israeli air raids on Gaza and the continued storming in of Al Aqsa mosque. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today that Israel's military escalation and the illegal siege enforced on Gaza strip is a clear violation of international law. The Ministry also stressed its condemnation to the continuous attacks on Al Aqsa mosque, saying that such acts by Israel provoke millions of people around the world. The ministry then called on the international community to face the crimes Israel is committing against the Palestinian people. The statement also stressed on the importance of finding a fair political resolution to the Palestinian issues in accordance to international law and resolutions.
