New York/ Information Office/ 23 September 2016/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, took part in a high-level ministerial meeting on Syria, chaired by the U.S. Secretary of State of the United States and the Foreign Minister of Russia. The meeting held in New York on the sidelines of the 71st Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations discussed mechanisms of cease-fire, activating the humanitarian truce and reviving political consultations.
