Qatar Pleased with Sudan's Cooperation with UN on Reviewing Human Rights

Geneva/ Information Office/23 September 2016/ The State of Qatar praised Friday the cooperation between Sudan and a UN team charged with reviewing the state of the human rights in the Arab country. This came during Qatar's speech in the 33rd session of the UN Human Rights Council. The speech was delivered by political researcher at the human rights authority Abdul Hadi Al Mansouri. Al Mansouri thanked the Sudanese delegation for their efforts in presenting the latest developments of human rights in Sudan. Al Mansouri added that he noticed that the government in Sudan took a number of steps that will have a positive impact on human rights in the country. One of them was following up on the implementation of the Doha Document for peace in Darfur.
