GCC Foreign Ministers to Hold Joint Meeting with Turkish Counterpart

Riyadh/Information Office/11 October 2016/ Their Excellencies Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council will hold a joint ministerial meeting with Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in the capital Riyadh on Thursday. Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir, chairman of the current session of the GCC Ministerial Council, will chair the meeting which will be held in the framework of the strategic dialogue between the two sides. GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said that the joint meeting will look into ways to further strengthening joint cooperation in all areas, in implementation of the joint working plan between the two sides. The foreign ministers will also discuss the latest political and security developments in the region, and the international efforts to compact terrorism.
