Brussels/ Information Office/ 01 December 2016/  Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg met with HE Qatar's Ambassador to NATO Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, on the occasion of ending his tenure.

 The NATO Secretary General praised the efforts of HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani which contributed to the strengthening of relations and cooperation between NATO and Qatar, wishing him success in his future diplomatic duties.

For his part, HE Ambassador Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Secretary General of NATO and for the fruitful and constructive cooperation he received during his tenure which reflected positively on strengthening and developing relations between Qatar and NATO.
