 Qatar Condemns Burning Alive of Two Turkish Captives

Doha / information office / 23 December  2016 / The State of Qatar on Friday strongly condemned the heinous crime committed by a criminal group which have burned alive two Turkish captives.

  In a statement, the Foreign Ministry stressed that the brutal crime against the two Turkish captives is against all the principles and human values and its contradicts all laws and religions, pointing out that this heinous act is aimed at spreading fear and intimidation as well as distorting the true values of Islam and its principles of tolerance.

  The Foreign Ministry also stressed the State of Qatar's solidarity with the fraternal Republic of Turkey in all the measures it takes against this heinous crime.

  The statement called on the international community to intensify its efforts in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever its origins or those who stand behind it are, through a comprehensive approach to deal with this phenomenon and eradicate it.

  The statement extended sincere condolences to the Turkish government, the brotherly people of Turkey and the families of the victims.
