HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Wednesday met HE Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two fraternal countries and means of boosting and developing them.

During the meeting, the Turkish foreign minister was briefed on the developments of the Gulf crisis and all the illegal measures taken against Qatar.

HE the foreign minister expressed his appreciation for the Turkish stance towards the blockade imposed on Qatar.

For his part, HE the Turkish foreign minister reiterated his country's solidarity with Qatar, stressing that Qatar deserved the respect of everyone by exercising self-restraint and not escalating despite its strong stance.

HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani and HE Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci attended the meeting.
