Qatar's Permanent U.N. Representative Meets International Chamber of Commerce Sec-Gen

HE Ambassador Sheikha Alia Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, the State of Qatar's permanent representative to the United Nations, met on Wednesday with the International Chamber of Commerce's Secretary General, John Danilovich.

During the meeting, HE the ambassador presented a briefing on the Gulf crisis and the commercial, economic and humanitarian impacts of the illegal and unfair siege imposed on the State of Qatar. She reiterated the State of Qatar's readiness to settle the crisis through diplomatic means.

HE the ambassador reviewed the State of Qatar's international and regional efforts to combat terrorism and violent extremism as well as its role in international development. She pointed to the excellent ties between the State of Qatar and the International Chamber of Commerce.
