Doha /information office /19 October 2017/ The State of Qatar expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a military base in Kandahar province of southern Afghanistan, resulting in a number deaths and injuries.

The Foreign Ministry in a statement Thursday, reaffirmed Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, whatever their motives or causes.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the Afghan government and people, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
