HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Wednesday held via telephone a conversation with HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the fraternal Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The telephone conversation discussed the serious repercussions of U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as a capital of Israel and moving the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv.

HH the Emir stressed the seriousness of this decision, which will further complicate the situation in the region and negatively affect its security and stability.
