The second round of political consultations between the State of Qatar and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was held in Hanoi on Monday.

The Qatari delegation was headed by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, while the Vietnamese side was led by HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vu Hong Nam.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of advancing them in all fields. They agreed to develop relations between the two countries by increasing the volume and level of trade exchange and economic cooperation and boosting bilateral investments.

They also discussed the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
