Qatar's Embassies, Consulates and Diplomatic Missions Abroad Continue Celebrating National Day

Qatar's embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions abroad continued celebrated Qatar National Day which falls on December 18, in commemoration of the state's founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani, under the theme "Promise of Prosperity and Glory.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Republic of Tanzania Abdullah bin Jassim Al Maadadi, held a reception on the occasion of Qatar National Day in Dar es Salaam.

The ceremony was attended by HE Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Zanzibar Mohamed Hamza as a Guest of Honour, HE Director of the Middle East Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of East Africa Zeinab Anjoufi,, as well as a number of officials and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Tanzania and a group of Arab communities residing in Tanzania.

Speaking on the occasion, HE , Ambassador Al Maadadi reviewed the achievements of the State of Qatar under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. He also stressed the development of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the United Republic of Tanzania.

In turn, the guest of honor delivered a speech in which he praised the State of Qatar, stressing the keenness of the Tanzanian government to strengthen its relations with Qatar in various fields.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Azerbaijan Yousef bin Hassan Al Sai held a reception on the occasion of the National Day of the State.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamaluddin Haidarov, representing the government, a number of government officials, MPs, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in the capital Baku, as well as a number of businessmen and media persons.
