The State of Qatar will participate in the fourth meeting of the Consultative Political Group of NATO's Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), due to open on Monday at NATO-Kuwait ICI Regional Center.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium and Head of its Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi will head the Qatari delegation to the meeting.
The NATO-Kuwait ICI Regional Center is the first NATO center to be opened in an Arab country.
It aims to building strategic partnerships between the ICI members and other NATO members and benefiting from the expertise of the NATO countries in the training, operations and technical fields in addition to activating and facilitating the initiatives of each of the ICI members.
The agenda for this session will include topics on regional security and cooperation in the fight against terrorism and cybercrime.
