The State of Qatar participated Sunday the African Unions heads of state, governments summit in Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.

The summit was under the theme of "Winning the Fight against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africas Transformation." Qatar's delegation was chaired by HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.

The summit will discuss a number of urgent issues taking place on the continent such as armed conflicts, illegal immigration, activating free trade zones, a protocol for the freedom of movement for African citizens, as well as placing a clear mechanism for combatting corruption.
