Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Officials at Human Rights Council Session

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met separately on Monday with HE Swiss Foreign Minister, Ignazio Cassis; HE Japanese Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, Manabu Horii; U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Al-Hussein; HE International Labor Organization Director-General, Guy Ryder; and HE International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President, Peter Maurer.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 37th session of the Human Rights Council, currently underway in the Swiss city of Geneva.

The meetings reviewed bilateral relations, enhancing prospects of cooperation, in addition to a set of regional and international issues of common concern.
