Qatar and Kazakhstan Hold First Session of Political Consultations

The first session of the political consultations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana.

The Qatari side was chaired by HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al Hammadi, while the Kazakh side was chaired by HE Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akylbek Kamaldinov.

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ahmed bin Ali Al Tamimi, and HE Director of Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Hamar attended the session.

The consultations touched on means of enhancing and developing bilateral relations in all fields of mutual interest, as well as exchanging views on developments in the Gulf and Middle East.
