HE Governor-General of Papua New Guinea Sir Bob Dadae has received the credentials of HE Ahmed bin Jassim Al-Hamar, as (Non-resident) Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the independent State of Papua New Guinea.

HE Ambassador Al-Hamar conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, wishing him good health and happiness and the independent government and people of Papua New Guinea further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HE the Governor-General of the State of Papua New Guinea entrusted HE Ambassador Al-Hamar to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and his wishes for the Qatari people more prosperity and progress.
