The State of Qatar expressed Saturday its strong denouncement and condemnation of the explosion that took place near the entrance of a sports stadium in Lashkargah South of Afghanistan and left a number of people either killed or injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed, in a statement released today, The State of Qatar's shock at the heinous crime and stressed its solidarity with and support to the Afghani government in all the measures they will take to maintain security and stability.

The statement renewed The State of Qatar's firm position against violence and terrorism, regardless of its motives and reasons. The ministry's statement also expressed The State of Qatar's condolences to the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
