HE Minister of International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Tin, on behalf of HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and State Counselor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi, presented the Shield of Peacemaker to HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Myanmar Hassan bin Mohammad Rafi Al Emadi, on the occasion of the end of his term in the country.

HE Minister of International Cooperation praised Ambassador Al Emadi's efforts in developing bilateral relations and opening up wider horizons for cooperation between the two countries, and his continuous contributions and interest in the peace process and national accord in Myanmar.

For his part, HE the Ambassador of Qatar thanked the Government of Myanmar for the support it had provided during his tenure and expressed his sincere wishes to the Government and the people of Myanmar of further progress, prosperity, peace and reconciliation.
