The State of Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the explosion that occurred in the province of Farah, western Afghanistan and left several people dead and injured.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
