Qatar's Ambassador Meets Qadran President, Members

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic Sheikh Ali bin Jassem Al-Thani met with the President and members of the Franco-Qatari economic circle (Qadran), which includes senior executives and managers of the most prominent French groups: Airbus, Total, Dassault, AccorHotels and Printemps.

During the meeting, HE the Ambassador stressed the important role of Qadran in promoting partnerships between the State of Qatar and the French Republic. He called for continued work to create new investment opportunities to enhance exchange and highlight the solid relations between the two countries in the long term.

HE the Ambassador stressed the importance of joint work within Qadran to make it a space for interaction between French and Qatari cultures. He pointed out that Qatar Cultural Year 2020 in France will be an important occasion for the two countries to highlight the works of art, heritage and folklore, in addition to the innovations of modern technology, especially artificial intelligence, which has become a new challenge to societies. He noted that Qadran will be the link between France and Qatar in this regard.

President of Qadran Christophe Bourland stressed that the attention given by HE Ambassador Sheikh Ali bin Jassem Al-Thani to the activities of Qadran will give it a new start. He said that Qadran will organize the second edition of its meetings and will work closely with Qatar's business initiatives in France and the French initiatives in Qatar.

Bourland noted that Qadran will participate in the mission of the Movement of the Enterprises of France (Medef), which will visit Doha this weekend.
